Product Overview
The Reid method determines vapour pressure for fuels under controlled conditions:
• Procedure A: Gasoline and petroleum products with vapour pressure <180 kPa (26 psi). • Procedure B: Similar materials; precision verified with gasoline only. • Procedure C: Petroleum materials with vapour pressure >180 kPa (26 psi).
• Procedure D: Aviation gasoline with vapour pressure ~50 kPa (7 psi).
Not suitable for liquefied petroleum gases or fuels with oxygenated compounds other than MTBE.
