The Uniqsis Polar Bear PLUS Flow™ is a state-of-the-art heating and cooling reactor module designed for flow chemistry applications. Developed by Cambridge Reactor Design in collaboration with Professor Steve Ley’s Innovative Technologies Centre (ITC) at the University of Cambridge, this compact unit delivers high-performance temperature control in a footprint no larger than a shoebox.
The Polar Bear PLUS Flow can maintain reactor temperatures from -40°C to +150°C while remaining entirely self-contained, requiring only a standard electricity supply—no dry ice, refrigerants, or heat transfer fluids are needed.
This portable, easy-to-use module is compatible with all standard Uniqsis coil and chip reactors, making it an ideal addition to FlowSyn systems. For enhanced modularity, the Polar Bear PLUS Flow can also be paired with a Uniqsis Binary Pump Module, forming a versatile modular flow reactor system for laboratory synthesis.
