The SHEL LAB SVAC9-2 Vacuum Oven is a high-capacity laboratory vacuum oven with 9.3 cubic feet of chamber volume, making it one of the largest available. Designed for drying heat-sensitive materials and for chemical, pharmaceutical, or research applications, this oven combines large-volume performance with precision control.
Equipped with a fully programmable Watlow controller, the SVAC9-2 supports 40-step ramp-and-soak profiles or four files with 10 steps per file for precise temperature programming. A digital vacuum gauge displays chamber pressure from 760 Torr to 0 mTorr, with a maximum end vacuum of 10 mTorr and a leak rate of 30 mTorr per 30 minutes. An independent secondary high-limit controller ensures over-temperature safety.
The vacuum oven features cross-flow ventilation for uniform drying, true vacuum valves, and a KF25 fitting for quick connection to compatible vacuum pumps. Although the oven does not include a pump, it is mounted on a rugged mobile stand with a built-in vacuum pump mount. The Viton® gasket provides chemical resistance and high-temperature durability, making this unit ideal for demanding laboratory and industrial applications. Stainless steel interior and optional stainless steel exterior make it suitable for cleanroom environments.
