SVAC4 Vacuum Oven

The SVAC4 Vacuum Oven from SHEL LAB is a high-performance laboratory vacuum oven designed for fast, gentle drying of heat-sensitive materials. It allows safe drying at lower temperatures than conventional convection ovens, preventing residue accumulation and preserving delicate samples.

Constructed with a durable stainless steel chamber and a double plenum design, the SVAC4 meets CE safety standards, ensuring a cool outer surface for safe operation. Its cross-flow ventilation system evenly distributes inert gas throughout the chamber, achieving precise vacuum levels quickly. Users can select a 3/8-inch orifice or a KF25 fitting to optimize vacuum performance, with a maximum permitted end vacuum of 10 mTorr and a leak rate of 10 mTorr per hour.

The vacuum oven features spring-loaded tempered glass doors with positive latch handles, creating a secure vacuum seal without hinge stress, thereby prolonging gasket life. Silicone gaskets are included, with optional Buna, Fluorosilicone, or Viton® gaskets recommended for solvent or acidic applications. The tempered glass viewing window allows continuous monitoring of samples during operation.

Note: The SVAC4 does not include a vacuum pump or accessories. Consult your SHEL LAB distributor to select compatible pumps and accessories for your application.
