The SVAC2 Vacuum Oven from SHEL LAB is a high-performance laboratory vacuum oven designed for fast, gentle drying of heat-sensitive materials. Its innovative design enables drying at lower temperatures than conventional convection ovens, preventing residue buildup and protecting delicate samples from thermal damage.

Constructed with a seamless stainless steel chamber and a double plenum design, the SVAC2 meets UL, CSA, and EU safety standards while maintaining a cool outer surface. Users can select a 3/8-inch orifice or a KF25 fitting to achieve precise vacuum levels quickly, with a maximum permitted end vacuum of 10 mTorr and a leak rate of 10 mTorr per hour.

The vacuum oven features spring-loaded tempered glass doors with positive latch handles, providing a secure vacuum seal without hinge stress, extending gasket life. The viewing window allows continuous monitoring of samples. Silicone gaskets resist a wide range of temperatures and pressures, with optional Buna, Fluorosilicone, or Viton® gaskets recommended for solvent or acidic applications.
