SVAC1 Vacuum Oven

The SVAC1 Vacuum Oven from SHEL LAB is a precision laboratory vacuum oven designed for fast, gentle drying of heat-sensitive materials. Its innovative design allows drying at lower temperatures than conventional convection ovens, reducing the risk of product degradation and preventing residue accumulation.

Featuring a stainless steel chamber and a double plenum design, the SVAC1 meets UL, CSA, and EU safety standards, ensuring a cool outer surface for safe laboratory operation. Its cross-flow ventilation system distributes inert gas evenly throughout the chamber, achieving rapid vacuum stabilization and consistent drying performance. Users can select a 3/8-inch orifice or a KF25 fitting to optimize vacuum levels, with a maximum permitted end vacuum of 10 mTorr and a leak rate of 10 mTorr per hour.

The vacuum oven is equipped with spring-loaded tempered glass doors for a secure vacuum seal without hinge strain, extending gasket life. The viewing window allows continuous monitoring of samples during operation. Silicone gaskets provide versatility across a wide temperature range, while optional Buna, Fluorosilicone, or Viton® gaskets are recommended for solvent or acidic applications.

Note: The SVAC1 does not include a vacuum pump or accessories; consult your SHEL LAB distributor for compatible options.
