Featuring dual Abel and Pensky Martens testing methods, it provides compliance with EN 924, EN 13736, ASTM D93, IP 170, IP 491, IP 492, ISO 1516, ISO 3679, ISO 13736, DIN EN 22719, IP 34, and ISO 2719.

Measuring Principles
Abel Method:
• The sample is warmed and maintained at the selected test temperature
• The shutter opens automatically, and an ignition system detects the flash via an ionization detector
• If flash is not detected, the sample continues heating until the next test interval
Pensky Martens Method:
• Sample is heated and stirred at specified rates following ASTM D93 procedures A, B, or C
• Ignition is applied at intervals with stirring interruption until a flash is detected
• Accurate detection using PT100 stainless steel temperature sensors
