Measuring Principle (Abel Method)
The sample is heated according to standard methods. When the programmed test temperature is reached, the shutter opens automatically, and the ignition system introduces the flame or electrical ignitor. If the flash point is detected, the ionization detector records it. If not, the shutter closes, and the sample continues heating until the next programmed test point.
