The Minimum Free Space Oven (MFSO) is designed for precise coal drying and moisture determination, featuring a compact heated chamber with the lowest practical internal volume to minimise free space and improve measurement accuracy.
The MFSO-ISO model operates with a regulated flow of moisture-free nitrogen gas, efficiently removing moisture released from coal at 105 °C in full compliance with BS 1016-104.2:1991, BS ISO 687:2010, and BS ISO 11722:2013.
The MFSO-ASTM model uses controlled airflow in accordance with ASTM D3173-11, ensuring accurate, repeatable moisture analysis for ASTM-based testing laboratories.
Engineered for uniform heating and controlled gas flow, the MFSO delivers reliable, standards-compliant moisture results for coal testing laboratories and industrial quality control environments.
