The Minifors 2 bioreactor is a compact, easy-to-use system designed for a wide range of bioprocess applications. Suitable for both beginners and experienced users, it provides complete control over microbial and mammalian cell cultivation, enabling reproducible and reliable results in research and development.
Available in 1.5 L, 3 L, and 6 L total volumes, the Minifors 2 allows quick and easy vessel changes. Its rounded flat vessel bottom ensures low minimum working volumes, excellent mixing, and stable operation, with or without a vessel holder. Safe sampling is ensured with the INFORS HT Super Safe Sampler, eliminating dead volume.
The system offers flexible port configurations for sensors, inlets, and immersion tubes, along with high-performance pumps supporting fixed, variable, and gravimetric dosing. Integrated mass flow controllers (MFCs) optimize gassing for bacteria, yeast, and mammalian cells, while pO₂ cascades and GasMix control maintain precise oxygen levels. Optional biomass sensors from Optek and Aquila Biolabs further enhance process monitoring.
An intuitive 7-inch touchscreen simplifies control, calibration, and data export, while integration with eve® bioprocess software enables web-based project organization, process planning, and advanced analytics. Communication via OPC UA or OPC XML-DA ensures compatibility with other bioreactors and analytical instruments.
