LIS – Liquid Injection System

The LIS (Liquid Injection System) is a cutting-edge solution for automated, parallelized, and precise liquid feeding in shake flask cultures. Designed for simplicity and efficiency, the LIS enables researchers to implement custom feeding strategies while maintaining optimal culture conditions. Compatible with a wide range of liquids, including sugars, alcohols, acids, and bases, the system streamlines shake flask experiments and improves reproducibility.

The LIS system consists of three key components: the drive, the sterile cartridge, and optional LIS software for wireless monitoring and control. Predefined feeding profiles allow quick setup, while the software enables remote control, monitoring, and custom profile creation for time- or event-based feeding strategies. Integration with eve® software ensures feeding profiles can be managed alongside other bioprocess parameters and logged in a central database for analysis.
