ABP DM Analytical Balance Series – Ultra-Fast Precision for Advanced Laboratory Weighing

The KERN ABP DM Analytical Balance Series represents the next generation of premium analytical balances, engineered for ultra-fast, stable, and highly accurate weighing across a wide range of laboratory applications. Powered by innovative Single-Cell Generation technology, these balances provide significantly faster measurement results and exceptional precision compared to conventional analytical balances.

Designed for pharmaceutical, chemical, research, and academic laboratories, the ABP DM series combines advanced weighing performance with powerful workflow features, including automatic internal adjustment, dosage assistance, recipe documentation, and multi-user access control.

With a user-friendly navigation pad and intuitive menu system, the ABP DM series ensures efficient operation and streamlined laboratory processes. Automatic internal calibration is triggered by temperature changes of ≥1 °C or by time control every 4 hours, maintaining measurement accuracy even in changing laboratory environments.

The balances also feature minimum weight monitoring, alerting users when a sample weight falls below the acceptable threshold. This ensures compliance with quality standards and helps maintain reliable analytical results.

Advanced recipe weighing and documentation functions enable automatic ingredient numbering and simplified data capture via a combined tare-and-print function. Multi-user management allows up to 10 individual user profiles, including password protection, barcode login, and optional guest access for shared laboratory environments.

Connectivity is simplified through RS-232 and USB interfaces, enabling data transfer to computers, printers, or USB keyboards. The balance also supports automatic data output once the measurement stabilizes, ensuring accurate and efficient data recording.

The ABP DM series features a large glass draught shield with three sliding doors to protect measurements from air currents while allowing easy access to samples. A multi-function weighing plate further minimizes air turbulence and enhances measurement stability.

These balances are fully compliant with FDA 21 CFR Part 11, ensuring secure electronic records and data integrity for laboratories operating in regulated environments.
