Freezing Point Refrigerator for Aviation Fuels & Coolants – ASTM D1655, D2386, D5901, D5972, D7154

The Freezing Point Refrigerator (LT/RB-55004/M) is a high-precision benchtop instrument designed to determine the freezing point of aviation fuels, gasoline, turbine fuels, engine coolants, antifreeze, and brake fluids. Built to comply with ASTM, IP, and ISO international standards, this equipment ensures reliable and repeatable measurements critical for the aviation and automotive industries.

Key Features – LT/RB-55004/M/M
• Compact bench-top design in durable aluminum with epoxy anti-acid paint.
• Four dry clean test wells with standby covers for simultaneous testing.
• Wide working temperature range: +60°C to -80°C.
• Digital temperature controller with 0.1°C resolution.
• PT100 Class A probe for superior accuracy (±0.1°C).
• CFC-free cooling system with integrated double-stage compressors, reaching up to -85°C.
• Automatic energy-saving standby mode after analysis completion.
• Four independent start/stop stirrer buttons for controlled agitation.

Measurement Principle

Samples are cooled and stirred while the operator observes the formation of hydrocarbon crystals. Once crystals appear, the sample is gradually warmed until they disappear entirely, determining the freezing point temperature.

Technical Specifications
• Temperature range: +80°C to -100°C.
• Resolution: 0.1°C | Accuracy: ±0.1°C.
• Test jar with a 25 ml mark and secure cell fixation.
• Brass 3-coil stirrer driven by a micro-motor.
