Digtor 22 C-U Oil/Petrol Centrifuge

The Digtor 22 C-U is the most cost-effective centrifuge for oil laboratories that do not require heating, providing practicality, speed, and versatility. It supports the same accessories as heated models, all of which are specially designed for working with oily substances and standard laboratory reagents used in oil testing.

This centrifuge is ideal for 6” and 8” conical tubes, pear-type tubes, and “finger” tubes for small-volume samples. It also features a pre-installation for an optional Gas Release System (GRS), allowing you to upgrade the centrifuge at any time during its service life.

The Digtor 22 C-U is compliant with oil and petrol laboratory standards, including ASTM D 91, D 893, D 2273, D 2709, D 5546, API 2542, API 2548, BS 4385, and DIN 51793, making it suitable for regulated petroleum testing. Upright tube positioning ensures stability and reproducibility during operation.

Key Features:

  • TFT color touch screen: Visible from over 3 meters; displays RPM, RCF, time, PCBS acceleration/deceleration, and ULS (unbalanced location system).

  • Programmable speed: Adjustable in 10 RPM / 10 ×g increments; real-time RCF values displayed based on accessory configuration.

  • Flexible timer: Count-up or countdown from “0” or set RPM/RCF; programmable from 1 sec to 99 hours in 1-sec steps or hold position.

  • PCBS: Progressive Controlled Braking System with up to 175 ramps prevents sample homogenization.

  • ULS: Identifies the bucket causing unbalanced switch-off for safer operation.

  • Start delay: Schedule cycle start times to optimize lab workflow.

  • Linked programs: Chain up to 8 consecutive programs without user intervention.

  • Memory function: 100 programmable memories with password protection.

  • User alerts: Acoustic and visual notifications indicate the centrifuge’s operational status.

  • Optional Gas Release System (GRS): Pre-installed for easy future integration.

Applications:

  • Petroleum and oil analysis in laboratories without heating requirements

  • Testing of small-volume tubes, including conical, pear-type, and “finger” tubes

  • Biodiesel, lubricant, and standard oil sample preparation

  • Compliant with ASTM, API, BS, and DIN standards for oil testing
