The CryoDry CD8 9 Shelf Stack is a genuine CryoDry accessory that maximizes the CD8 Home Freeze Dryer’s shelf capacity. With nine fixed heated shelves, it increases usable drying area within the CD8 chamber and suits liquid products and applications requiring smaller tray depths.
Each shelf measures 465 × 210 mm, providing a total shelf area of 8,784 cm². The 16 mm inter-shelf distance supports effective air circulation during the freeze-drying process. CryoDry specifically describes this configuration as being designed for the drying of liquid product.
The 9-shelf configuration is the highest-capacity shelf arrangement available for the CD8. The CD8 supports interchangeable 5-, 7-, and 9-shelf configurations, allowing users to select the shelf arrangement best suited to their product and application.
The 9 Shelf Stack is matched with 12 mm trays measuring 200 × 450 mm, which provide the appropriate tray depth for the reduced 16 mm shelf spacing. Trays are available separately.

The 9 Shelf Stack is designed for the CryoDry CD8 Home Freeze Dryer. The CD8’s interchangeable shelf system supports 9-, 7-, and 5-shelf configurations. The 9-shelf configuration has a 16 mm inter-shelf distance and uses 12 mm-high trays.
