Elite Thermal’s Ash Fusion Determinator EATC17 is a high-temperature, floor-mounted ash fusion analyser designed for samples that fuse at temperatures beyond the operating range of standard systems. Operating on the same proven principles as the EATC16plus, the EATC17 delivers comparable, reliable ash fusion results while extending the maximum operating temperature to 1700 °C.
The furnace is equipped with molybdenum disilicide (MoSiâ‚‚) heating elements, enabling stable and precise high-temperature performance for the analysis of coal ash, biomass ash, and refuse-derived fuel (RDF) ash. The system automatically determines ash fusion behaviour while providing continuous visual documentation of sample deformation.
High-Resolution Imaging & Digital Analysis
The EATC17 features a high-resolution integrated camera with a manually adjustable lens mounted on a movable arm, allowing precise observation of samples and easy access to the furnace work tube. Captured images are streamed to a high-performance computer and recorded using a dedicated ash fusion logging and analysis program.
Advanced imaging features include:
-
Automated and continuous digital image capture
-
Image recording at user-defined intervals, including every 1 °C temperature increment
