The INFORS HT Labfors 5 bioreactor is an advanced, highly adaptable system designed for a wide range of bioprocessing applications. Whether cultivating microorganisms and phototrophic organisms, or running solid-substrate and enzymatic bioprocesses, the Labfors 5 delivers precision, flexibility, and scalability — making it a trusted solution in research, process development, and production environments.
With working volumes from 0.5 to 10 liters, the Labfors 5 can be tailored to your exact process requirements. It offers customizable configurations of stirrers, spargers, and specialized accessories, enabling you to optimize mass transfer, gas exchange, and mixing for virtually any biological system.
The system features up to 14 sensor ports for real-time monitoring of key parameters, including pH, pO₂, optical density, redox, antifoam, conductivity, and live cell density. Designed with no welded lid components, it’s fully compatible with GMP-compliant processes.
Each culture vessel includes four precision pumps (expandable to five) with autoclavable pump heads and gravimetric feeding options for consistent nutrient delivery. Advanced control is achieved through eve® bioprocess software, enabling profile-based pump-speed control, cascade management, and real-time process data visualization.
With support for up to 5 gas lines, parallel bioprocess management, and seamless integration via OPC UA or OPC XML-DA, the Labfors 5 offers a complete, intelligent solution for bioprocess development and optimization.
