Electrically Operated Elevator Hearth Furnace

The Electrically Operated Elevator Hearth Furnace is designed for rapid load transfer applications, making it ideal for glass melting, advanced ceramics firing, and high-temperature laboratory processes. Its smooth, fast hearth ascent/descent enables precise and efficient loading and unloading of crucibles or samples. All instrumentation and control systems are housed in a separate free-standing console for safety and convenience.

Key Features

  • Rapid heating and cooling cycles are achieved through vertical movement of the elevator hearth.

  • DC motor with UP and DOWN controls, including upper and lower limit switches for operator safety.

  • 400mm nominal elevator travel with an 8-second cycle for fast load transfer.

  • Molybdenum Disilicide (MoSiâ‚‚) or Molybdenum Tungsten Disilicide (Mo-W-Siâ‚‚) heating elements on all four chamber sides for uniform temperature distribution.

  • Premium-grade ceramic fibre insulation for energy efficiency and rapid thermal response.

  • High-end microprocessor PID controller for precise temperature control.

  • Overtemperature protection system included as standard.

  • Small ceramic chimney fitted as standard to manage exhaust and fumes.

Optional Features

  • Flow meters for air or inert gases for controlled atmosphere applications.

  • Compatible crucibles for a variety of sample types.

  • Multi-segment, multi-program storage controllers for advanced thermal processes.

  • Ceramic liners for protection against corrosive fumes or use with protective atmospheres.
